When the path forward feels cloudy—whether in our lives or in the lives of those we support—images can offer what words cannot. In this experiential class, licensed clinical social worker, coach, and experiential designer Heather Riley introduces the S.E.E.N.™ Method, a creative process that helps surface what’s stuck and make space for clarity, insight, and forward momentum.
Through guided reflection, intuitive sketching, and metaphor-based mapping, Heather invites participants into a visual thinking practice that’s both grounding and generative. You’ll learn how to transform complex inner states into simple, accessible visuals that reveal emotional patterns, highlight new possibilities, and bring the nervous system into deeper regulation.
Whether you're a therapist, coach, or space holder of any kind, the S.E.E.N.™ Method can help you and your clients move beyond intellectual processing and into embodied clarity. It’s a tool for designing change—internally and externally—one image at a time.
Rooted in Heather’s decades of experience blending somatic therapy, systems thinking, experiential design and ritual arts, this session offers a bridge between insight and action, creativity and care. You’ll leave with:
● Access to a downloadable map and template for reflection and facilitation
● A framework for helping clients “see what they feel” and move forward with greater agency
● A fresh lens for designing coaching sessions, group work, or curriculum
● A deeper sense of alignment in your own path as a guide, healer, or leader
To get the most out of this session, bring some blank paper, a pen or pencil, and any markers, colored pens, or notecards you have on hand—we’ll be doing some simple, creative mapping together.
